Due to extraordinary circumstances surrounding Halloween this year, we just wanted to remind folks that if you do not wish to have kids knocking on your door to trick or treat, please turn off your porch lights or put another indicator outside that you are not accepting trick or treaters this year. We are not endorsing one point of view or another, but giving guidance to avoid any unwanted situations. Parents, if you are choosing to allow your children to trick or treat, please remind them to avoid houses with lights off. Thank you.
The Anne Arundel County Department of Public Works has approached the community in regards to improvements for Forked Creek in regards to water quality improvement within the Magothy River Watershed and controlling stormwater runoff. The 3 initial letters can be found by clicking the links below this paragraph as well as the map showing a visual overview of where the study will be conducted. While the neighborhood will not incur any costs, there could be an inconvenience to the neighbors on the north side of Norton Ave and the Viking North cul-de-sac however we are not sure because this is still in the exploratory phases.
